Every year, Santa makes a special stop @ Rhealt Farm during December. We've gone quite a few years so it was fun to get to go again. Ryan and the girls came with us. There is so much to do there! The whole grounds are decorated in lights and "Twelve Days of Christmas" decor. In the big barn- there's a Toy Train display, a Letter to Santa Writing Station, and a Photo Op Wall (the one you stick you're head into). In the outer building/pen you can visit Santa's Reindeer. In the Rec Building there's an Ornament Making Craft Table, a Christmas Tattoo by Santa's Elf Star, Coloring Pages, and Hot Cocoa for sale.
There was also a Sleigh ride which we didn't have time for due to the fun, fun, fun, fun Santa line. {Sorry guys! The men were a bit twitchy that we had to go see Santa. But really.... what is Santa's Village without seeing the Big Man himself... really? Although by the 8th turn of the line, I wish I had just opted to listen to them and went on a sleigh ride instead. Oops! The line was very deceiving. LOL The kids were fantastic though!} After FOREVER and a million winds of the line, we finally got to snap a picture with Farmer Joe Santa. ;) He gave each kid a sucker (isn't it supposed to be a candy cane?) and a ribbon/ornament to commemorate our visit. In the next room, they got to decorate a cookie with Mrs. Claus. She was...... interesting to say the least. So.... Q: How come Santa has 3 gardens? A: So he can HoHoHo!... Q: How is the Christmas alphabet different than the regular alphabet? A: NoeL Q:What did the Gingerbread Man put on his bed? A: Cookie Sheets..... There you go! You didn't know Mrs. claus could be so funny, right? Well, you learn something new everyday!HoHoHo for Santa's Village!
