Birthday Girl!
We had a really busy day today! Fortunately for us, one of the great things about little kids birthdays is... if you say it's a celebration- they believe you. LOL!
Since it was the last day of school, we had balloons and treats everywhere! We had a really healthy breakfast for our Bday girl. HaHa! She has been waiting FOREVER for it to be her birthday! She was so excited!
After breakfast, we let her open a few presents! She is so funny! Everything she opened, she would hug and say, "I luv it!"
Then once the kids were off to school, I had Visiting Teaching to do in Enderlin. But we just told Glory she got to go see her friends so she thought we were going out there for her. She loves the Friederich girls! Sister Boatman came and got us around 9am. She had even decorated the backseat of her car with a Bday banner and lots & lots of pink balloons. The girls could hardly even get buckled. Too cute! It's usually about a 40 minute ride from our house but since we went with Sister Boatman a different way than we're used to- it ended up taking us an hour and a half. We got a bit lost. Oops! Poor kiddies were so done with the car by the time we got there. They did enjoy their friends though. They could have stayed there all day! (I forgot to take pictures out there. oops! But thanks, Faith & girls for letting us come out)
After our short ride back LOL (at least it felt really short), we had a picnic lunch outside before nap.
Rested and ready for more fun, we had a few of Glory's favorite buddies & their families over for dinner. She loves, loves, loves Baby Soph, Carson McPherson, & the other Carson!!!!! (She also loves NayNay & Cooper but they couldn't make it) We had hotdogs, lots of yummy sides, played outside, sang Happy Birthday & had cupcakes and opened presents. She had a fantastic time. Thanks for celebrating Glory with us, guys!
One more special treat for her Birthday... Day took her on her own special Go-Kart ride.
We just love having Glory in our family. She is a cracker and always makes us laugh. She's got a great smile and the cutest voice ever! Happy Birthday Baby! (Oh, I forgot- she's always telling me "I NOT the baby- I Dory!" LOL Also, she now thinks she's 4. Yesterday if you asked her how old she was, she'd have said "I two" but today she's now 4. I guess three isn't cool enough for her. Silly girl! Love ya!!!!!

Happy Birthday Ryler!
I have the privilege of sharing my Bday with my cute nephew, Ryler. He turns 3 this year! To make it a big deal for him, we celebrated his Bday on Monday. A little more kid-friendly fun day! ;) We started the morning off swimming and opening gifts pool-side at Grandpa's hotel. Thomas the Train & Toy Story galore! Before we started, we told him we had to sing and then open his presents. We sang and he opened the first one. Then, with every present after that, he sang Happy Birthday to himself as he opened the gift. Too cute! He carried his gift bags all over the place after that. He was so excited! After naps, we went to a movie with lots & lots of popcorn! (See our fun here) Then for his Bday dinner, we had some of his favorite things-Spaghetti-o's, apple sauce, fruit snacks, Capri Suns, and of course, cupcakes!!! Happy Birthday Ryler! We had a really, really full weekend. Today is my 34th 25th and holding birthday! LOL It was a great day! At Church, I got to teach Gospel Principles. {I really do enjoy teaching the Gospel} And everyone was so kind to wish me a Happy Birthday! I have got some amazing friends! We had to take Shauna to the airport after lunch. ;0( Thanks so much lady for coming! We love you! For the afternoon a bit of a nap was in order and of course visiting with the rest of our guests. In the evening, Brett made me an amazing dinner! Roast, potatoes, onions & carrots, and a delicious salad. It was perfection! YUMMMY! Thanks, Love. After dinner, we opened presents. I am one spoiled kid! I got a silver charm necklace, a new skirt, a RED necklace (red's my favorite color), some spending money (I'm saving for a fancy camera), some new sandals, lots of home-made cards & a paper rose, and some gorgeous flowers! Thanks everybody! For dessert, we had yummy Eclair cake! It's one of my favorites lately. (Thanks for sharing the recipe, Matthew!;) My cute Fam sang and helped me blow out candles.What a great Bday!

We Partayed ALL day today to celebrate Justice's 8th birthday!
Justice and Brett started out the morning by making a Go-Kart run for some Sandy's Donuts. They looked pretty awesome all decked out in their new helmets! ;) Then, Brett made a humongous, yummy breakfast for our BDay boy per his request! Donuts, eggs, bacon and chocolate milk. Of course, that was about as long as he could wait for presents. So, rip 'em open, kid!!! He got tons of stuff. Thanks for those that sent things! (We miss you) His favorites included anything Pokemon and his 2 new Webkinz friends!
He enjoyed the rest of the morning with all his new treasures until all our guests arrived. Since his Bday this year landed on Easter weekend, we made the annual Easter Hunt into one big Birthday/Easter Bash. After the hunt and lunch, everyone joined us in singing "Happy Birthday" to Justice. Make a wish, buddy!
The rest of the night was filled with movies, playing with new toys, decorating Easter eggs, a few Egg Fights and spending time with the fam.

We were so stuffed from the day that we saved his Birthday Meal for Sunday. His request was T-Bone steaks, crescent rolls, strawberries, blueberries, carrots and Eclair Cake. With it being Easter, we had to throw in some Deviled Eggs as well- which he loves so it was a bonus! We invited Matt & Haylie over to celebrate with us. I totally spaced taking a picture of us singing the Bday song over his Eclair cake. Oops! But what a great BDay weekend. Happy Birthday Buddy! We're way excited for your upcoming Baptism. Yeah!

10 Years in the Making
Can you even believe that Liberty turned a decade old today? Holy Moly girlfriend- would ya just stop already? LOL! Here's what we did to celebrate our amazing girl:
Liberty's morning started with chocolate chip muffins, scrambled eggs and apple juice. Along with flowers & balloons and opening a present- Harry Potter: Book One. Yeah! She was so excited last night she stayed up really late because she couldn't sleep. Silly girl!
Today also just happened to be the day for Mom to come volunteer in Mrs. Spanier's class. How cool is that? So Mom got to spend the morning with Liberty and even got to eat lunch @ school with her. What perfect timing and a very special day!
The afternoon was full of opening a few of her presents and playing Harry Potter! BEST DAY EVER! She was so excited!
As soon as Dad got home, she opened the rest of her presents and we ate a special requested dinner. Dad grilled chicken on the BarBQ and Mom made her home-made salsa which Liberty LOVES! We also had a few of Liberty's favorite veggies- radishes, carrots, snow peas and lima beans! Yummy for the tummy! We even got to watch her new movie Tangled as a family. Such a cute show.
We ended the night with singing, blowing out candles, eating cake and licking chocolate ice cream cones. What a great night!
We are so lucky to have Liberty in our family. She is an amazingly smart girl. She's so kind and thoughtful and helpful. She is constantly thinking of others and is the BEST missionary ever! She loves to talk on the phone and play with her many friends. She is an incredible reader and loves the Harry Potter series along with Junie B. Jones, the Leven Thumps series and about anything that has words written on it. She is gonna be a fabulous babysitter and helps out so much with her siblings. She loves to snuggle with Mom & Dad and could sleep until noon every day if we let her. She is an amazing artist and so creative. What a beautiful young lady she is. We love you so much, B!!!!!!

Happy BDay Victoria!
It was celebration after celebration after celebration for this Birthday Princess. We celebrated on Sunday with Dad. A yummy dinner, singing and eclair cake. She was getting excited for her birthday countdown.
Next was her friend party! It was Playgroup at our house today so we made it into a Partay! We blew up tons of balloons for them to play with. They ate lunch, opened presents, had cake & ice cream and played like crazy! What great friends we have!
Victoria kept begging to open a present or two or three during the day- which I let her! Afterall- it is her special day! ;) But we did have to save some for our little family Partay! We only made it until the kids were home from school before we let her open everything up. Thanks to those who sent her stuff. She was so excited! We ate her requested dinner- simple but well eaten! We sang "Happy Birthday" and had more cupcakes. We even got to watch her new Barbie movie, The Diamond Castle! She was one happy girl!
Happy Birthday Missy Moo! We sure love you! You are such an amazing kid! You are so helpful and kind hearted. You are always creative and so beautiful. You have the most amazing smile! We LOVE having you as part of our family. Happy Birthday kiddo! XOXO
Friday Movie Night & Ribs
In celebration of Brett's Bday, the Ironroads offered to make him ribs! YUMMMY! So, we had Matt and Haylie over for Friday Movie Night. The Larsens are "people of demand" so they came and went as they were needed elsewhere. But it was fun to have some or all of them at one point or another. I really got into the Fall cooking tonight! It smelled wonderful! I made Smashed Butternut Squash from our garden. (OMH! I could eat this every night!) We had a fresh spinach salad and HUGE baked potatoes. (Thanks Potters!) I LOVE food- well, eating it anyways! Thanks for celebrating Brett with us, guys!

The kids got up early and helped make him a special breakfast in bed.
After work and a little home-teaching, let the Partay begin! Upon request, Justice made him some Taco Soup for dinner. And the girls made him Reese's PB cup brownies for the treat! YUMMMY! (well for those PB lovers! ;) Then we opened presents! This year, we got him a Vehicle Charger, the Iron Man 2 DVD, a new Wii Nunchuk with coupon for a game that is coming in the mail, some gum and a bag of Reese's PB Cups.
One thing we weren't able to get this year was his favorite cereal- BooBerry or Frankenberry. (Can you believe that ALL of Fargo is out? It's only the 13th!!!! And they aren't getting any more in before Halloween. LAME!) The Larsens had the same idea and went looking for it as well. They didn't having any luck either but picked the next best thing... Cookie Crisp and Capn' Crunch Berries. Brett is totally spoiled! LOL! The Larsens stopped by to drop off their presents just in time to join us for singing and cake! Thanks Larsens! We got the bestest friends! ;) [Disclaimer: The picture below of the cereals... yes! That is Frankenberry but only because Brett bought himself a box last week]
