First Day of School

The kids were so excited for school today! They requested a "real" breakfast (I know- slacker mother, I am) so I actually made french toast and eggs and a home-made smoothie. (Are you so proud of me, Cheri? LOL) They ate really good! I didn't get a picture of it though. Guess there's no evidence that I stepped up my game. Oh well! The kids were pretty comfortable with already knowing the school from last year then, going and getting settled in their classrooms last night so they didn't even have me walk them in. I dropped them off at the far curb of the round driveway and they walked into the school all by themselves! Actually they ran to the door. That's a good sign, right?
After school, we ran into a couple friends and got to play on the playground together and visit for a bit. Everyone seemed to have had a fabulous 1st day of new experiences. We had to practically drag them away from the school. It was like a First Day of School partay!
When we all said our goodbyes, my little fam took Andrew Ray with us and made a stop at Sandy's Donuts for an after-school treat. Once again- no picture! No proof- once again- what a fabulous first-day-of-school-Mom I am! Dang! LOL!
Liberty's 1st Day of the 4th Grade
Justice's 1st Day of the 2nd Grade
Liberty & Justice-I am so glad you had a great first day kiddos!
We're so proud of you!

Ready, Set, Go...

We're all ready for school to start tomorrow. Holy cow! Where did the Summer go?

Justice & Mrs. Gerri Dyrdahl & their Student teacher, Kate Seaberg
Then, after School Priesthood Blessings by Dad and a fun-filled FHE, the excited kids tried to get to bed early! (We are such night owls- dang!)
Good Luck tomorrow guys!
CTR!
You'll do great!

Awesome Movie- Perfect Date Night

We had the most awesome Date Night for babysitting group tonight! To start, it's cuz I have a very HOT boyfriend! ;) Next, we love a good movie! And finally, we have awesome friends!
We went to see Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in their new movie, Knight and Day. LOVE it! It is a total "we're so buying it" movie! Action, laughter, love! So good! Both Roy and June were hilarious!
(Ryan- you so missed out, Slacker! You owe Kenzie a movie!)
Next, we headed over to the Larsens for dinner and hanging out with good friends. The men were in charge and it was AMAZING! Totally a manly meal and delicious! They BBQed steaks on Ryan's brand spankin' new grill, baked potatoes, had salad, fresh peaches, corn on the cob, green beans with mushrooms & bacon, frappe' & Pee water (aka Mt Dew LOL!), and two different kinds of awesome strawberry desserts. It was fabulously yummy! Thanks guys- you are AMAZING! Food, action, luv and laughter- and that was just dinner! LOL! The whole night was perfect! Thanks to our friends and my HOT date! I love dating you! XOXO!
(PS Thanks Tuckers for watching all the kiddos!)

Our Back to School Partay

School starts on Tuesday so, for our Friday Movie Night we had a couple friends over to celebrate our last weekend of Summer. A big Back to School Partay- hurray!
The Larsens, the Elders & the Tuckers came over for pizza, some water fun, and a movie. (Well, the Elders came just for dinner but it was good to have them) We got all the kids some food and that was about the last time we saw them until we started the movie. They play really well together! We set up a couple pools and the sprinkler by the tramp for them to play in. It was a nice, hot, muggy night so they thorougly enjoyed being in any and all of the water. We actually just had to start the movie and tell them several times before they would even come in.
We did excuse the Tuckers to go home before the "girly" movie so that KTuck could have time to prepare for her ONE WOMAN ACT on Sunday. (Good Luck lady!) Then, the Larsens and us watched High School Musical in honor of going back to school. We love those shows!!! Brett seranaded all the kids along with the movie and there was a lot of eye rolling going on. Too funny! Just wait until all these girlies get older and wish some good-lookin' guy would sing to them! ;) I AM one lucky woman!
Good luck to all the kiddies in school this year! Have fun, be smart, be good, & Choose the Right!!!

Buffalo River 2010

I mentioned that this Summer has been perfect to be outside., right? Well, we took advantage and spent every Friday we could at Buffalo River. Totally got our money's worth with our year pass! Thanks to all our friends that spent their Friday mornings with us. (especially our die-hards, the Tuckers!) We'll always have such fond memories of our time at the lake.
Yeah for Buffalo River!

Justice & the Raiders

Brett signed Justice up for Flag Football again and even offered to help coach this year as well. [So... we totally slacked and didn't sign up in time to avoid the late fee but decided to buck up and pay the whomping $75 bucks anyways just to make sure Justice could play his favorite sport.- Now that's an extremely nice Dad, right there!]
Justice is playing for the Raiders this year and after a little work get-together for Brett, he had his first game tonight. I totally forgot my camera- I know- SLACKER!!! But luckily I made my phone camera work and emailed myself all the pictures. Hopefully, you can see them!
Justice pulled the first flag of the night and also made a pretty good run!
Way to go Buddy!
You are awesome!
Go Raiders!!

Water Fun @ the Cooks

To enjoy the last bit of our Summer, Brooke invited everyone out for a little Water Fun at their place. The kids had a blast! The Potters even brought their waterslide. The kids played on the tramp and in the sand, had waterfights, slid on the slides, and the older boys even tried to catch the garage on fire. Oh, the fun we have when we are all together!! LOL! The adults and some of the kids enjoyed our Potluck lunch- man those are the best! And it's always fun to visit with these ladies!
This has been a perfect Summer to enjoy the outdoors. I'm so gonna miss it! (Unfortunately, I am all too aware that Fall is soon approaching followed by the famous Fargo winter- oh joy!)
Thanks Cooks for having us out!

Ironroad's Partay

We got back from the Lake just in time to set up for another Party! Haylie's Dad, Mom & little sister are in town visiting so what a perfect chance to have them meet all of Matt & Haylie's Fargo family. It was really an Ironroad's Party-- we just provided the space. It was lots of fun! And so great to visit and meet Haylie's fam. Here's the reason for the Party: (This is prove they were here but if they don't come back soon- we can always delete this picture so they'll have to come show their faces up here again. LOL!)
The awesome BBQers- Matt & Rob. There was SO much meat. Yummy!
What cute sisters!!!!
The Party guests included the Ransoms, the Larsens, the Potters, the Brothersons, the Seamons, and the Masseys. What an awesome extended Fargo family the Ironroads have! There was so much food- it's always a good party when that much food is involved. The kids played great as usual. and Little Glory loved "Grandpa Blake"!
Thanks for throwing your Partay at our place- you are welcome anytime (and so is Grandpa, Shauna and Shalese)! Luv ya guys!

At the Lakes with the Cooks

Our dear friends, the Cooks are the most giving people we know. They are some of the hardest workers and are always sharing all that they have with others. We love them!
Since they have no other way they could spend their limited time already (LOL!), they ended up renting a lake place for the month of August. Today, they were gracious enough to invite us out for a day at "the Lake". We had a blast!
They got a place with a small little cabin with 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, a sitting area and a screened porch. It was just perfect for their family and having friends out during the day. The beach property was fabulous! It was a perfect day for it too- the lake was like glass for most of the day. A huge shade tree, lots of sand and tons of things to do! We got to spend the day with the Cooks, Liz & Bryant Zollinger, the Tuckers, the Brewsters, and the Mausolfs. What a great day!
We all got a turn out on a tube or at least pulling a tube. It was Liberty's absolute favorite! (In fact, she paid for it for several days after! Oops! The back of her legs got fried!) KTuck, Julie & I got out together. What can I say?- I AM A Whimp. My arms are still sore and Brett was actually very kind in his driving. It was a crazy ride but lots of fun!
Justice's favorite had to be the Kayaking. He was in them every chance he could get. Conner & him would go out pretty far in the lake. I wasn't sure they would be able to get back. LOL!
The Cooks bought a water Trampoline to bring to the lake. It wasn't very bouncy but the kids loved swimming out to it (or getting a ride to it in the kayak- thanks Emily) The older kids loved taking turns jumping off of it into the water. A very fun addition to the Lake experience.
Last but not least, Brett was in love with Jerry's Jet skis. Theses things were like race cars on water. They were super fast and mega powerful. Wowzers! Brett even tried his luck at Slalom Skiing. After he finally got his size 13 foot into a size 10 boot (LOL!), he was off. He looked awesome! You are amazing, Honey! What a hottie you are! Some of the younger boys tried their hand at raft skiing. They looked pretty cool as well.
Thanks so much to the Cooks for sharing their place with us! We had a fabulous day! Thank You!

Redhead

Along my journey back from brunette to blonde--- Don't mess with the newest Redhead....
With a few jokes on my behalf....
Q: How do you get a redhead's mood to change?
A: Wait 10 seconds

Q: What do you call a Redhead with an attitude?
A: Normal

Q: Why aren't there any more redhead jokes?
A: Someone told them to a redhead.

Only two things are necessary to keep a redhead happy.
One is to let her think she is having her own way,
and the other is to let her have it.

Lucille Ball is one famous Redhead who said, "Once in his life, every man is entitled to fall madly in love with a gorgeous redhead."
Well- Here you go, Brett- this is your chance! LOL! ;)

Been on Vacation- Finally Done Posting

UPDATE: All done posting about our wonderful vacation. Now onto more Fargo Partays. The fun just never stops 'round here! LOL!

August 14th- We've been on vacation to the wild, wild West the last couple weeks! When I have sorted through my 800+ pictures, I'll get some posts up! (You might think I'm kidding about the + well unless you know me! LOL) This might take a bit! ;)

Utah Vacation: Heading East, Temples & the Hoffmans

WOW!! Are you totally exhausted? I am!! And just from blogging about this trip! Good thing I am stubbon or I'd be throwing the towel in on this whole "Preserve the Memories" crap! My kids have been giving me a hard time the last day or two- they think I spend ALL my time on the blog. Poppycuck! Then I'd like to know who's been making the food and doing laundry and changing poopy diapers all week? Kid Perspective- isn't it great?
Ok- so our 2010 Utah journey is almost at it's end. I promise! LOL! After a few goodbyes, we headed out leaving our beloved mountain-y state behind.
Brett and I have a goal this year to make it to the Temple 6 times each. We used to go at least once a month when we lived in Utah but since moving to Fargo, a single Temple trip is an all day, 9 hour, round-trip journey to just do a session. So, even though six doesn't seem like a lot- we felt it was do-able but also a little stretch for us with little kids still at home. Well, since we ONLY (LOL) saw a minimum of 9 temples in the last two weeks, we thought we'd better get us to some of them. We did do the session together in the Salt Lake Temple but decided to do separate visits to different Temples on our journey home. We made our way North and dropped Brett off to do a session at the Idaho Falls Temple while the kids and I went to visit some friends. It is a beautiful Temple. And can you tell?- I LOVED the flowers!
It worked out perfect because our friends, the Hoffmans, just moved from Fargo this week to Rexberg. (The Rexberg Temple is actually closed this week for cleaning or it would have been about a 5-minute ride- lucky-they are so close) We gave them less than 24 hours to have the place presentable for visitors. Sorry about that! But actually the place looks great! That's Amber for ya! Luv ya lady! It was fun to visit and see their new home. It is darling! They have the best street names EVER!!! They have an adorable little townhouse, a 2 car garage, a BBQ patio, a great grass area, a playground and an amazing Clubhouse. Amber is going to have to become the Partay Queen out there. She has the room for it for sure! A pool, a fireplace, a kitchen, a sitting area, a work-out room and a movie theater. Wowzers! Too much fun! Maybe I'll have to come to your Ornamanet Exchange this year- Can I be invited?? LOL! Thanks lady for letting us drop by- your place is great! We'll miss you tons! Be brave, out-going, invite some people for dinner and throw lots of parties for me! ;) Best of Luck, Hoffmans!
After our night's rest at the Fairfield Inn, I left my sleeping family and went to a session at the Billings, Montana Temple. I really enjoy the quietness and peace I feel in the Temple. They truly are the House of the Lord. When I got done, I walked around the grounds- the rocky backdrop to the Temple was awesome!  I also got to see a bride, her groom and her mother come to the Temple to be sealed. It's so fun to watch the excitement as people start their lives together. Ahh! The memories!
What a fabulous trip! Except for a couple incidents, I actually could almost call it a vacation! (Are they ever a vacation for the Mom?) We, of course, had other things we could have done, more people we would have loved to see, more time we could have spent with the people we did see- but all in all- we had a great time!
Thanks for all those who made time to see us! The memories are priceless. We so appreciate your love and laughter and friendship! Until we meet again--- Love ya all!!

Utah Vacation: BBQ @ the Crumps

My Dad threw a party at his house for us the night before we left. He makes a mean BBQ! YUMMY! We had all but the Finch family there (my step-sister and her family live in Tennessee). It's been a long time since we have had this many of us all together. I think the last time we were all together was a wedding and even then I'm not sure that all the hubbies were even there. It's tricky with the distance, that's for sure. It was so fun to see everyone. We actually figured out that we haven't seen Ryan in 11 years. Crap! How is that possible? Seriously, life is crazy! Good to see ya finally, Ryan! LOL!
We made Dad break out the Wii that has been in the box since Christmas. We even set it all up for him. The kids had a blast! We played and ate and let them listen to our new favorite Snowman song. A few even got in a pingpong game in the basement. We also broke out Dad's wireless mouse for his laptop, (also, a Christmas present and also still in it's box- LOL! luv ya dad :) so I could still some pictures from  our visit. We had a great time!
Here's our yummy BBQ. Dad has a secret recipe for his meat! (I could tell you what it is but then... you know... I better not tell you! LOL!) All of the food was delicious! Thanks so much for the fabulous Shin-dig, Dad & Edette!
We also took the opportunity to take some pictures. My mom came and brought Ryler so we got a picture of her and all her grandkids. SO cute!

Here's the crew: Now that is a good-looking group of people. And almost all the kids even looked. That's a feat in and of itself. And Shiloh didn't even blink- Way to go, girl! Love you guys! Miss ya tons!

Utah Vacation: Bestemor

We got to do a little Walk Down Memory Lane (aka Boxelder Street) when we went to say hi to Bestemor today. I showed the kids the house I grew up in, Sadler's 1st house that I spent hours at, the little green house we lived in for a bit and my Bestemor's Farm (JK but when you see the next collage you'll see why I call it that). After our visit, we drove by the house we lived in before we moved to Fargo and hoped over to the Sadlers as well which we lived in for 9 months too. (Nobody was home which was a bummer. Sorry we missed you guys but we did drop off Uncle Bud's Lagoon picture.)
The Andersen home (in honor of my Grandpa Karl) has always prided itself in Norwegian hospitality. Bestemor made sure she fed us home-made brownies during our visit. I took a chance to take some pictures of some of the things that have been hanging on Bestemor's walls for as long as I can remember. Memorabilia from her travels around the world. I, also, came across a "Tractor Trophy" I made her in 1989. Too funny! It looks exactly the same as it did when I made it 22 years ago- Now that is some good craftmanship! LOL! After a little photo op of me, her and the kids (She made sure she changed into her fancy silk shirt from China for the occasion), she switched back and took us on a tour of her farm. We saw the pheasants, the chickens, the turkeys and even got to take a few fresh farm eggs home with us! She had hip surgery at the beginning of the Summer so she never really got her garden in or we would have been loaded with produce too, I'm sure. Thanks Bestemor for letting us visit!

Utah Vacation: Expert Fishermen

The men-folk got up early (HaHaHa- yah-right--early!- it is Summer Vaction remember) to do a little fishing. They went up American Fork Canyon and went all the way up to Silver Lake. They must be expert fishermen because they caught 40 fish! Can you believe that? They brought home around 15 of them. They were dang big trout! (For real--No tall tale or anything) Justice even tried to bring home some duck for dinner. LOL! Brett said the mountains were beautiful! They ahd a great time!
Check those fish out!!! (Gross in the sink- sorry Lori- but BIG!!):
Here, fishy, fishy!

Utah Vacation: Partay @ the Rasmussens

After East Canyon, we got to spend some time at the Rasmussen's home for a couple nights. (Thank you, thank you, thank you!) We LOVE them! They have always been the greatest examples to our family. Lori & Lou are so much fun! Lou's hilarious and makes us laugh all the time. Lori is absoluetly the most thoughtful person I have every met. When I grow up (I'm not yet?), I hope I can be even a little bit like her. All her kids are amazing! Alex is serving a mission right now in Cali so we sure missed him. But it was so fun to get to hang out with Zach, Jake and Anna. They are all grown up now. How does that happen? Jake was a tiny baby (ok-he was never tiny LOL!), the first time I met him. (15 years ago- oh my gosh- where does time fly?) They are great kids! Hope my kids look to them as examples of what to shoot for. Luv them! They shared their home, their garden, their camera/computer, their doggie and their amazing musical talent with us! It was so much fun!
While Brett was off playing at Lagoon and fishing (in his defense-he did take one or two of the kids with him each time;), the little girls and me hung out with Lori. She was so gracious to let Victoria be her helper. Victoria wanted to help her with everything! She dug potatoes and helped wash them for potato salad. She even wanted to cut them all up with her. She helped feed the dog and water the garden. Glory and Victoria even helped shuck corn. Big helpers, I tell ya! Lori also spoiled me by letting me visit some local quilt shops. Oh yeah! A fabric-aholic paradise! So much fun! She watched the girls for one and then watched them at a little park for the other. Thanks Lori! I'll have to show you what I make with the treasures I found! ;)
Around 6ish (Vacation time always runs more on "ishes"), most of the Seamons crew came down to the Rasmussens for a BBQ to say goodbye. Fabulous food and wonderful people! Brett and the kids even made it back for part of it. LOL! It was so great to see everyone. They are all so awesome! Thanks for making time to see us guys! We sure love you!
Before, we left town we had to make sure we got a "Stephen" picture. Brett's grandpa's name was Henry Stephen Seamons. Brett's dad's name is Garold Stephen Seamons. Then, Brett Stephen Seamons and his son Justice Stephen Seamons. Pretty cool! Lori and Lou named Zachary Stephen after Grandpa as well. The last picture we got of the 4 of them was at Justice's baby blessing so it was about time for another, ya think? Zach will be on a mission next time we come out so we made sure to fit it in even if we had to drag him in all hot & sweaty for a lawn-mowing break. Thanks Zach!

Utah Vacation: Lagoon

Brett's been telling the kids about Lagoon for a while now. We decided to only take the older two because it is a little pricey, my friend! Several cousins came with to make the day perfect. Brett, Justice and Liberty  took Anna & Skyler up with them. When Zach was done coaching soccer, Jake and him drove up separate. Then, Dixon, Chand and Ethan came down to meet them as well. They had a lot of fun and were very brave. They rode the Colassus Fire dragon, Wicked, the Sky ride, etc. They had to be back for a little Seamons Party that night so I know they crammed tons into the time they had. It'll be fun when we can take the whole family. Although, it's just not the same when you're old- I think your stomach whimps out or something! (Glad you made it through, Honey! LOL) Good times!
http://www.lagoonpark.com/admissions/parkMap
Growing up in my family, we went to stake Lagoon Day every year. We were usually in their Stake or just went when the Sadler family would go. It was always a tradition to got to Pioneer Village and get a Wild West Photo for Uncle Bud. Such fun times! All these years later, Uncle Bud actually has an entire wall or two in his home covered in the framed pictures. It's quite a Memorial! Bud knew we were going to Lagoon so he asked Brett to get a picture for him. Well, they didn't let him down. So funny! I love the picture! It's awesome!
Nowadays, with all the digital technology, Lagoon even gives you a CD with the all the shots they took. (and the copyright as well) A little Picasa magic and it's as good as the real thing! What characters!
Happy Lagoon Day!

Utah Vacation: Cowboys in Training

Howdy Partner! Let's getty up this post for ya'll!
One request that Liberty had while we were in East Canyon was Horseback Riding! So, Grandma Karla made arrangements for us all to spend the morning pretending to be Cowboys, I mean Cowfolk!! LOL! It was a lot of fun!
After everyone was awake, -which is an impossible task in and of itself- (Summer vacation, don't ya know) we made our way about 10 miles down the canyon to the Cowboy Ranch. (I forgot it's official name) We decided that we would rent 5 horses for an hour so we could do a couple trail rides and give some of the little kids a ride around the corral. It was a beautiful day and the owners were very kind. They even had a dog- which the kids adored, of course. And there were porch swings and hummingbird feeders so we were thoroughly entertained even without the horses.
Their little boy was a hoot. His name was Rylen and he is ALL Cowboy through and through! He had his 3rd birthday yesterday. He was so funny! He thinks that anyone who comes to rent horses is there to see him. He called my Dad- "Grandpa" the whole time and showed us 'round the place. He even got out his rope for some Rodeo Action. He was ropin' everyone! I took my turn catching him. I had to chase him through the trees. He's a fast little bugger! But my favorite part was when he caught me. He was pulling me all over the place by my ankle screaming, "I gotcha bunckin' bronco!" Too cute!!!
Like I said- With 4 of the horses, a group went out on a trail ride. It took a bit to get all the horses saddled and everyone on and then they were off into the sunset- ok, really just up the hill but that just doesn't sound as neat! LOL! All those with 2 riders got a little smopshed but everyone had a great time!
While the Cowboy Posse was gone, we took the little ones on rides 'round and 'round the corral. They LOVED it!! A couple of us adults even got a turn. When the Posse got back we made a switch for a new group and my girls stayed behind for riding lessons. They did awesome!!! Victoria did it all by herself for a little bit. Liberty took off like a natural. She was stopping the horse- Whoa!- and turning her around and everything! It wasa lot of fun to watch her. When Justice got back, they let him have a little turn as well. All my kids make awesome Cowfolk!!
Here's our Trail Ride Posse # 2: (Even little Glory went with Dad and loved it!!)
Last but not least, they had donkeys. The little ones enjoyed feeding them. Well that is until Glory get bit. Oops! Gotta let go of the straw before he eats it all, baby. I felt way bad for her and she was NOT fond of them after that. Ryler on the other hand looks like he's in love! Cute boy!
Thanks Mom! It was a lot of fun! You made Liberty's day!
What a great Adventure, ya'll!
Yee-Haw!

Utah Vacation: East Canyon

For over 30 years, my Bestemor (means Grandma in Norwegian) has gone to the East Canyon Resort [http://www.eastcanyon.com/] up Parley's every Summer. Growing up, my family spent lots of time there. We got lucky enough that this week is her time at the Resort. My mom got our fam an extra condo for a couple nights. (Thanks Mom- we had a great time!) We made it up in time for an awesome Sunday dinner with the Sadler family. Kathie made her yummy casserole and home-made brownies which the kids got to decorate. DELICIOUS! Thanks Kathie!
[Kathie also brought a few of my quilts that I had left here all quilted for me. They are so gorgeous! I LOVE them!!! Victoria, Glory and little Trae loved them even more. They laid on every one and would wrap up in them. Too cute! Thanks Kathie- they look so gorgeous! I owe you big time!!!!]
It was fun to visit and see everyone. (Treston & Shelley had a Bday Party for Brigham so they didn't make it up- but we did get to see them a couple of time earlier in the week) Everyone changes so much in a couple years. It's crazy! Thanks for making time to see us, guys! We sure miss all of you!
My Dad & Edette came up as well to spend some more time with us. While we were visiting and eating, Grandpa Randy kept the kids busy and happy with a little grass fight. I really think the Resort should have paid them for mowing the lawn. LOL!
After dinner, the Laroccos and Bud & Kathie had to leave, but the rest of us went for a walk around the Resort grounds. I forgot how much I like it up there. We let the kids play on the playground for a bit. They loved it! We crossed the bridge and even got to see a deer by the river. We absolutely enjoyed the crisp, mountain air! Man-- I miss that!
In the morning, my Dad & Edette let Justice, Glory, Victoria and me tag along for a scenic drive and short stop at the East Canyon Reservoir. (Everyone else was still asleep) Actually, we tagged them along with us because their car wouldn't start. ;) We made it all the way around to the damn and back. Of course, the kids favorite part was throwing rocks in the lake. Not sure the fishermen really appreciated it but hey- we ARE on vacation!!!! Throughout our time at the Resort- water was thoroughly enjoyed. Along with swimming and rock throwing, the kids also liked sticking their feet in the river and seeing the wildlife. We got to see a baby beaver and a family of ducks along with the deer we saw the first day. God's creations are amazing!
Can I just say?-- I LOVE shuffleboard!!! It is so much fun! We need one at our place. We played a couple of games- Dad & Brett vs Edette & Shay; Tauni & Kortni vs. Brett & Shay & Victoria. It was so much fun even though I think I lost every game badly! LOL! After the kids played tennis with Tauni & Kortni they tried their luck as well. Takara (aka gimpy) even came as an audience. :)
And of course, there's the pool! My fishy kids love the water! On the first night there, we went over to say hi to those that were in the hot tub. The boys (I mean Muscle-ly Men- my brother, Trave and cousin, Trae) were hilarious!! The were posing like their were in the IronMan Contest! The second picture I took (not shown), my step-mom, Edette showed them up. LOL! So funny! I really miss the fun we have together!
During our stay at the resort- my sister, Tauni made our whole family (& everyone else up there) twisted bracelets. (I'm not sure what the technique is called). They are awesome!!! You have to measure from fingertip to fingertip to get started. Well, after we did Glory's bracelet, it became tradition for her to stand in front of Tauni with her arms stretched every time she saw her. It was so funny! Tauni taught my girl's how to do them as well. Tauni let them have several skeins of floss and they were making them the rest of the vacation. We LOVE them! Thanks Sis for the little momento!
We had a blast! Hurray for East Canyon!
