Fargo Favorites #46

1. Loud noises
These last couple of weeks have brought all sorts of LOUD noises to our home. There have been countless numbers of mid-night Thunderstorms. No one is sleeping through these suckers! Well unless you are a Seamons kid and mom puts a LOUD fan in your room at night. THEN we've enjoyed the HUMONGOUS Pyrotechnic show this whole week that shakes our house and even the hair on our heads. AND my little girls who think that shrieking at the top of their lungs (either laughing or fighting) is an Olympic sport. ;) Not even to mention the Navy Blue Angels that have blasted across the sky this week. LOUD is an understatement this week! But all of them are really amazing things to experience so we'll take the noise for a bit.
2. Rain Checks {Definition: promise - a verbal commitment by one person to another agreeing to do (or not to do) something in the future}
I am choosing to be grateful for Rain checks this week. Brett & I celebrated our 15th Wedding Anniversary Saturday but unfortunately we were apart. Brett volunteered in Minot again so he wasn't anywhere close to his beautiful wife. But hey after 15 years you learn to be flexible especially when you have a talented, able-body, serviceable hubby! (NOTE: He did have the kids do a fun little gift thing all day and they took me to dinner. Thanks Love) We're making plans to "rain check" our Anniversary! Luv ya Babe!
3. Make yourself at home, Squirrel!
Seriously? I've mentioned before that the squirrels never hibernate, never leave and never die here in Fargo but I haven't mentioned how comical they are. They are always around for a show of wrestling, racing or a hilarious lounging act. This guy laid on on deck on all fours like this then got on the bench to see if it was more comfy. Then when we opened the door he ran up the tree and did the same thing on one of the branches. Too funny! It's our very own "squirrel skin rug" LOL
4. Other People's Gardens
Even though our garden isn't doing well doesn't mean others are not. Thanks to the Christiansens for sharing your raspberries and your cherry tomatoes with us. You are awesome and so is your garden!
5. WFPD
A big shout out----The West Fargo Park District is the best! They have had the FUNnest Free activities this Summer. We have so enjoyed all they offered. Thanks so much!

So...
