Fargo Favorites #32

1. Visitors
We don't get visitors very often here in Fargo so I would be very ungrateful if I didn't say how much fun we had with Grandpa Randy, Shauna, Grandma Karla & Ryler this last week. Thanks guys for coming to visit!
2. Clean-up week
Every May, Fargo has a major CleanUp Week. Basically this means that ANY junk you don't want-you leave on the curb and magically by the end of the week it is gone!  Old appliances, paint cans, garbage, beds, mattresses, desks, or say.... broken bikes! It's fabulous! That is unless, you Hubby brings home WAY more than you put out there! Man- He makes me so Crazy Happy! ;) Luv ya Honey! Anyone needs a bike... or two... or three? LOL! I guess I can't give him that hard of a time cuz I did find a fix-up desk for my front room as well. I'll let you how it turns out!

Signs of Spring
I am so excited! The signs of Spring have almost made me forget how hard this Winter has been. [I said almost, people! LOL] So 3,4,5 are dedicated to the beauty all around. Enjoy!
3. Transplanting from one place....

 ...to another AGAIN!
Someday, we'll know where we want this stuff!
4. Growing grass under the Umbrella tree AGAIN!
5. Buds blooming everywhere! YEAH!
What's Bloomin' in your life?

Family Visit: Movie & Popcorn

After a morning of swimming and presents and naps, we took everyone to Minnesota for Gnomeo & Juliet today. It was a cute show and we were the ONLY ones in the Theater. Too funny! We bought a large popcorn and drink and asked for some extra paper bags so we could fll them for the kids. Well, the lady gave us our larges AND filled bags for all the kids AND gave them all a drink as well. SPOILED! LOL
As if that wasn't enough popcorn, we decided to make KTuck's Chocolate Popcorn for our guests tonight. It is SOOOO YUMMMMMY! The little kids were right there to help me. What great helpers, we have! ;) Even though it was bedtime, we all had our share and even had some extra to send home with Grandpa. Unfortunately, I think I'm gonna be sick for a week! Too........... much.......... sugar! ;) LOL!

Wow! What a busy, fun weekend! Thanks to Shauna, Grandma Karla, Ryler and Grandpa Randy for coming to visit us! We had a fabulous time! Come back anytime. Luv ya!

It's a Girl!!!

We got to welcome little A.L.I. into the world today. Isn't she adorable?
Congrats guys! We sure love you. Good Luck on your new Adventure!

Family Visit: Swimming @ Settle Inn

Grandpa Randy chose to stay at the Settle Inn for his visit to Fargo. The kids love it because he always picks a place with a pool. And Justice usually gets to sleepover at least once so he gets the benefit of a free breakfast as well. We had a blast swimming all weekend- any chance we could! Thanks Dad! We had a blast!
Fun on the slide:

Happy Birthday Ryler!

I have the privilege of sharing my Bday with my cute nephew, Ryler. He turns 3 this year! To make it a big deal for him, we celebrated his Bday on Monday. A little more kid-friendly fun day! ;) We started the morning off swimming and opening gifts pool-side at Grandpa's hotel. Thomas the Train & Toy Story galore! Before we started, we told him we had to sing and then open his presents. We sang and he opened the first one. Then, with every present after that, he sang Happy Birthday to himself as he opened the gift. Too cute! He carried his gift bags all over the place after that. He was so excited! After naps, we went to a movie with lots & lots of popcorn! (See our fun here) Then for his Bday dinner, we had some of his favorite things-Spaghetti-o's, apple sauce, fruit snacks, Capri Suns, and of course, cupcakes!!! Happy Birthday Ryler! Thanks for celebrating your Bday with us!

Happy Birthday Shay!

We had a really, really full weekend. Today is my 34th 25th and holding birthday! LOL It was a great day! At Church, I got to teach Gospel Principles. {I really do enjoy teaching the Gospel} And everyone was so kind to wish me a Happy Birthday! I have got some amazing friends! We had to take Shauna to the airport after lunch. ;0( Thanks so much lady for coming! We love you! For the afternoon a bit of a nap was in order and of course visiting with the rest of our guests. In the evening, Brett made me an amazing dinner! Roast, potatoes, onions & carrots, and a delicious salad. It was perfection! YUMMMY! Thanks, Love. After dinner, we opened presents. I am one spoiled kid! I got a silver charm necklace, a new skirt, a RED necklace (red's my favorite color), some spending money (I'm saving for a fancy camera), some new sandals, lots of home-made cards & a paper rose, and some gorgeous flowers! Thanks everybody! For dessert, we had yummy Eclair cake!  It's one of my favorites lately. (Thanks for sharing the recipe, Matthew!;)  My cute Fam sang and helped me blow out candles. What a great Bday!

Happy Birthday to me!

Family Visit: Firepit

We thought it's be fun to get out the firepit and enjoy the Spring weather with the Fam. Yah, right! Last night, it rained so bad that we decided to forgo our plans and stay inside. Then today, temps dropped quite a bit and the winds BLEW like CRAZY! But we decided to brave it anyways. It was way fun but chilly and the ND breeze blew ashes from here to Timbucktoo. All of us smelled SOOO smokey after. And we smelt (is that a word?) it the rest of the weekend in a jacket or a pair of Levis or anything that had come in contact with us. Oh the memories associated with smells! Too funny! The Sh'mores were sure yummy and sticky though! Thanks Honey for picking up 4 different kinds of Marshmallows just to make sure I was happy! XOXO! ;) We had GIGANTIC ones, regular ones, strawberry ones, and S'more ones that are flat and square. What will they come up with next?
