TOTAL-ly Eclipse

Girls Night in Forks (oh I mean Fargo) are so fun! Especially when you get to act like teenage girls in love with Werewolfs and Vampires. LOL! Some of our Twilight die-hards are out of town but we still had a great turnout!
Haylie & I came all decked out in our Team Jacob attire! Yeah for us! Go Jacob!
First, we all met at Olive Garden for dinner! YUMMY! We always feel a little bad because we are ONE- a huge group of loud laughing ladies and TWO- we are always on a time crunch schedule. The waitress definitely earns her tip the night the Mormons come to eat. Our new friend, Amanda only joined us for dinner but we'll convert her to the whole Girl's Night Out soon. LOL! Thanks for joining us for dinner, lady!
Then, we headed to THE Movie. It was SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!! I even WHOOHOOed at the beginning in honor of Brooke. (We missed you & the Kristens!) Unfortunately, the theater was pretty packed and remember the time crunch I talked about earlier-- we run on SMT (Standard Mormon Time) so we had to sit in small groups around the theater. It would have been FUNer to sit all together but you take what you can get, right? Jen M. sat between Haylie and me so there was a lot of eye-rolling going on (Jen- not us!). LOL! She's WAY Team Edward but after this movie she thinks that maybe she's ready to switch teams. Not to OUR team buuttt...... Is there a Team Jasper??? LOL!
Now that I've watched the movie, I officially can start reading the book. Hurray for me! Unfortunately, my house is a mess and we are having guests over this weekend so I will have to leave it on the shelf until next week. (I have way too much to do to live in Forks for the whole day! :)
This time, most of the girls were up for the Partay to continue so we headed to Perkins for dessert. Also-Yummy! We had the Adult Conversation group and the Protect-the-Minor Conversation group. Oops! Sorry Courtney. LOL! We sure love ya though!!!! It's always fun to see what kind of topics come up when we're together. You learn a lot about ladies at a Girls Night Out! LOL! We stayed until almost midnight. Crazy how time flies when you're having fun! :)
Thanks ladies!
I love being with you!
Let's do it AGAIN!!!
(Really- when Brooke gets back- we should do it again! ;)

Team Jacob

In anticipation for the release of the Twilight Saga: Eclipse & being Team Jacob fans-- Haylie & I decided to make T-shirts & necklaces for the event. We tried our hand at a new Freezer paper/ Spray Paint technique for the shirts. We used huge glass circles and did the Tribal Tatoo for the necklaces. They turned out so cool! Yeah! I'm so excited!!!

New Moon Partay

In case you are not Jen Mausolf or KBro, you may not have realized that Twilight's New Moon came out on DVD today! Well, it did and that is cause for a PARTAY!
In anticipation for the DVD release, Brooke graciously invited everyone over to the Cook's Big Screen Theater for the event. Of course, when there is all these beautiful women involved there is always great food and great company.
A few days in advance, I actually had called a babysitter because Brett is out of town. It turned out she had to work at her "real" job LOL! so she couldn't come that night. Oh well! I decided that since I've already seen it, to miss it wouldn't be that big of a deal. LUCKily for me, Matt offered to watch the kids while Haylie and I went out. What an awesome guy! 4 kids for 4 hours, late at night is a challenge even for the biological father but Matt was up for them so Yeah!!! We luv Matt! AND they decided to play at the Brotherson's so there was lots of friends to keep each other busy. Also, it just so happened that it is Matt's Bday today. Happy Birthday to Matt! We made sure we bought balloons and sang to him. (See our Birthday Post for Matt)
OK....Now with the kiddos in good hands, we were off to the party. The turn-out was fabulous! Brooke sure knows how to throw a ParTay! We had 13 ladies. Wowzers! Delicious food, fabulous friends, and watching hot guys on a big screen- doesn't take much for us to come together in droves. LOL!
After a huge FAMILY dinner of tons of delectable food, (I made sure everyone sat together at the table so we could be one big happy family) we grabbed the treats and moved the partay downstairs.
The movie was just as good if not better this time around. Haylie & I "snuggled" LOL! on the humungo bean bag and prepared the audience for the good parts. (The ones including a half-naked Indian) It was fun to be silly and act like teenage girls again. These are the best ladies to do that with. Of course a group photo shoot is always in order. Note that KTuck wore the appropriate colors this time. Way to go lady!!! (Unfortunately she was in the minority this time- guess it's just the themed parties we dress up for. LOL!)  {Further note- I realize that this group shot is in black & white but trust me she was appropriately dressed}
What a LUCKY lady I am to have such a fun group of friends. Thanks ladies and thanks Matt for letting me get out for the night. Hurray for Vampires and HOT Indians!
