Kid Creativity

I have the most creative kids EVER!!!! You just have to smile at what they come up with.
VICTORIA
Liberty went to Achievement days this week and came back with some pretty fancy fingernails that Sister Parker had painted. She did an AWESOME job! Well, then Victoria decided one day to play with clay. (We're out of playdough at the moment and all that we could find was clay). Well, we have these idea sheets in our playdough box- One of them suggested nails. You see where I'm going? Liberty had fancy long nails so Victoria made some for herself. Too cute! I think she did her fingernails AND toenails all week. She even started making bracelets and rings to wear. Gotta love it!
JUSTICE
After our busy weekend, the kids were a little bored this week with no one coming over so Justice found the LiteBright and got pretty creative. He made a whole "MAP" of our backyard. I wish I could have recorded word for word how he explained it. It was awesome! He included the deck, the fence, the big tree, the apple trees (both in red), the strawberry patch in pink, the tramp, the garden (which he did purple because he didn't have a brown), and the playground. He even left spaces for the gate opening and a space where the fence is coming a part a bit. He said he thinks he could get out of the yeard ther so her left a space on his map. ;) Pretty sure we won't be getting lost in our backyard anytime soon. It's an exact replica. Awesome Justice! :)
LIBERTY
Liberty has always been a creative kid when it comes to paper and markers and scissors and tape. Well, this week she decided to get in the creative Halloween spirit by making costumes for our Webkinz. AMAZING!  There's Chewy the Fairy Princess, Feather the King (Victoria wanted him a Pirate but I guess there were problems with his big feet and pirate shoes??? LOL!), Injured Snowboarder Rosey, Zamey the Painter Zumbody, Nemo the Chef, Mummy Blueberry, DJ  Pineapple the Koala, Stella the graduate, Princess the Princess, and Bubbles aka HPH (Harry Potter Hippo). We are set-- Halloween can come! LOL!
GLORY
She just wants to be like the other kids. She watches them all the time so it was only a matter of time before her creativity gene kicked in. I often find her with body art of some kind or the other. Of which she always defends herself by telling me, "PAPER!!!" (NO! Your skin is not paper, baby! LOL) After her bath, I found her downstairs by herself cutting out a beautiful picture leftover from the Halloween cotumes. Cute girly!
I just LOVE the creativity in our home!!! ;)

Native American Art Class

Liberty LOVES art!!! This summer, a lady named Chris Boyle offered a free 2 week Native American Art Class. It was from 8:15 to 11:15 on Monday through Thursday both weeks. They would learn about a Native American Tribe and then do an art projects that depicted that tribe. They did tons of things!
Liberty's friend, Jozie signed up as well so that made the deal even sweeter. Liberty learned a lot and has quite the talent for art- she made some awesome things! Way to go girl!

The Artist Gene

When Liberty was little, we could NEVER keep enough art supplies at our house. Well, Victoria is following in her footsteps. Not a day goes by that a game of Paper, Markers, Scissors (LOL!) isn't played. She is amazing! Very creative and crafty! BTW-She does custom work if you put in a request. Victoria is also getting very good at writing. She's growing up so fast!
{Interesting fact: Victoria is Right-handed but she writes with her left hand. And she's really good at it! I'm sure it has to do with the fact that she can see better what she's writing and we are working on it but.... for now she tends to write R to L. This info helps because when you see her art most of it is backwards. LOL! :)
Here's my little Artist:
And her latest Masterpiece:
Just AMAZING!!!

ALSO..
Liberty has not lost her flare for the Arts. We found this taped in the Hallway a while back:
She finished a couple of the Portaits but not all. I think they got lost before I could take a picture but, I think her creativity is so much fun!
What a couple of AMAZING artists we have! ;)

Crazy Driver

One title that Mom's are often known for is the Crazy Taxi Cab Driver. Well, today- I earned that title. We signed the kids up for a couple things this Summer and they ALL started to day. Oops! So, no more 10 o'clock sleepins. Dang! Here's my crazy driving schedule for the week:
A. Get people up WAY earlier than normal.
B. Get Liberty to the Native Amercian Art Class at Westside by 8:15 am
C. Then, Justice to Cheney for Packer Basketball Camp by 9:00 am
D. Uptown to the Train Depot to sign Victoria up for Summer Playground Camp
E. Drop Victoria late to Village West Park for Summer Playground Camp that started at 9:00 am
F. Back to Cheney to watch and pick up Brother by 10 am.
G. Back to Westside by 11:15 am to pick up Liberty.
H. Over to Cudneys who luckily picked up Victoria for us since Camp's over at 11:30.
I. Back home to say hi to Dad before he took off out of town.
Whew! I'm exhausted just typing about it! Gotta love the Titles that Mom's get to carry! Luckily it's for only a week. Hopefully, I survive. LOL!
